PURPOSE:

Substitute bus drivers fill transportation needs on an as needed basis.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Bus drivers must be able to obtain and hold Missouri CDL class "B" License and Missouri School Bus Permit, which includes a DOT physical and random drug testing.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous work-related skills, knowledge, or experience preferred.

• Ensure that all activities conform to district guidelines.

• Transport and/or supervise students over specified routes according to an established time schedule.
• Transport students during activity trips and field trips.
• Comply with traffic regulations.
• Drive safely and professionally.
• Perform required pre-trip inspections.
• Enforce the student discipline code.
• Other duties as assigned.

Training for CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements may be available.
