Diamond Middle School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create an engaging and developmentally appropriate PE curriculum that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits among students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education program aligned with state standards

• Teach a variety of sports, fitness activities, and health-related concepts to middle school students

• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and sportsmanship

• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support individual growth

• Maintain a safe and organized gymnasium and outdoor play areas

• Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and administration to support student well-being

• Organize and participate in school-wide fitness events, intramurals, or extracurricular activities

• Ensure compliance with school policies and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field

• Valid state teaching certification in Physical Education (or ability to obtain)

• Experience working with middle school students preferred

• Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills

• Passion for promoting physical activity and a healthy lifestyle
