Diamond High School is seeking a qualified, motivated, and student-centered professional to join our team as a Physical Education/Weights Instructor for the 2026-27 school year. This position provides the opportunity to positively impact students’ physical development and overall well-being through high-quality instruction in physical education and strength and conditioning, while supporting the success of our athletic programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction in proper weightlifting techniques, movement fundamentals, injury prevention, and overall fitness.
Monitor, assess, and document student progress, adjusting programs to meet individual and team needs.
Collaborate with coaches to align strength and conditioning principles with sport-specific training goals.
Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive weight room environment that promotes accountability, effort, and teamwork.
Uphold all district, school, and MSHSAA guidelines related to student safety and supervision.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field.
Previous experience designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for high school students or student-athletes.
Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Commitment to student growth, safety, and academic success.
