The Diamond R-IV School District is seeking a dedicated, student-centered High School Counselor for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering student growth, collaborating with families and staff, and cultivating a supportive academic environment.
Key Responsibilities

Student Guidance: Counsel individual students and small groups to support emotional, social, and academic development.

Academic & Career Planning: Assist students in defining educational and career goals, including planning and supporting high school class scheduling.

Assessment Coordination: Lead and coordinate state and national assessments at the high school level.

Collaboration & Communication: Meet regularly with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to address student needs and communicate career pathways.
Qualifications

Certification: Must hold (or be eligible for) appropriate School Counselor certification for the State of Missouri.

Skills: Strong communication, excellent organizational abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
