Second Shift Schedule = 3:00pm to 11:00pm

 

Custodians will be responsible for cleaning specific areas assigned by the supervisor.

 

Essential duties:

 

    *  Empty all trash cans and replace needed trash bags

    *  Sweep and mop floor areas

    *  Clean and disinfect restrooms

    *  Check restroom machines and holders - fill as needed

    *  Perform all duties that are custodial in nature and deemed appropriate by supervisors

    *  Clean all halls and entrances

    *  Vacuum carpets

    *  Secure all outside doors

    *  Assist in security by locking gates after use and at the end of the work day

    *  Clean desk tops at least twice weekly

    *  Clean chalkboards weekly

    *  Buff floors as time permits

    *  Assist in maintaining seasonal grounds work (snow, lawn)

    *  Perform routine maintenance and repairs

    *  Understand and follow safety procedures as provided by the District

    *  Perform other duties as assigned

 

The employee will frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk more than the average person while performing the duties of this job.  The employee must also lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

 

Summer maintenance schedules will vary and will be assigned at the end of the school term
