Title: PROCESS COORDINATOR 

 

REPORTS TO: Director of Special Education 

 

FAIR LABOR STANDARD ACT: Exempt 

 

POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Professional 

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 9 months ( Part-time 1 day a week)

 

QUALIFICATIONS  

  1. Baccalaureate Degree in Education 
  2. Valid Missouri Certificate from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Special Education (Cross Categorical certification) 
  3. Minimum of two (2) years successful special education teaching experience 4. Experience in the public school setting preferred 
  4. Detailed understanding of the Special Education process 
  5. Ability to manage time and multiple priorities to meet deadlines 
  6. Possess collaborative and interpersonal skills 
  7. Excellent written and oral communication skills 

JOB SUMMARY 

The Process Coordinator will be responsible for supervision of the Special Education process from  referral through placement and provision of services, appropriate identification and placement of  students with disabilities, and District compliance with local, state and federal requirements for Special  Education.

The duties of the Process Coordinator will include, but are not limited to the following:
