The Diamond R-IV School District is accepting applications for an Elementary Vocal Music teacher for grades K-5 for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. 

 

Candidates must have a valid Missouri teaching certificate and hold appropriate certification in the area of instruction. 

 

Responsibilities include:

-Planning, instructing, and evaluating student instruction by implementing the music curriculum in an enthusiastic and positive manner. 

-Encouraging a love and appreciation of music in children and seek to highlight the talents of children in the building through exposure to both vocal and instrumental music. 

-Being innovative, creative, and able to tap into student interests. 

-Building individual classroom relationships with students through effective classroom management. 

-Working successfully as part of a team/committee in a highly collaborative manner for building and district-wide benefits outside of the music room.
