Diamond Middle School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Middle School Math Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be passionate about mathematics education and committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for middle school students.

Responsibilities:

 

Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive and challenging curriculum for high school math courses in alignment with state standards.

Effective Instruction: Employ a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students and facilitate a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.

Student Assessment: Regularly assess student progress, provide timely and constructive feedback, and implement interventions to support student success.

Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.

Technology Integration: Utilize technology to enhance the teaching and learning of mathematics.

Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and contribute to the overall success of the math department.

Parental Communication: Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and actively engage them in their child's education.

 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Certification: Valid teaching certification in Mathematics. Missouri State Teaching Certification is required.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience preferred.

Subject Knowledge: Strong content knowledge in middle school mathematics.

Technology Skills: Proficient in using technology tools and applications to enhance math instruction.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
